Zitah - A Forum Set Tutorial

To create this Set you will need:

Tube of choice

I used art by Keith Garvey

I bought this Tube while he was with MPT

As of this writing,

Tubes and License are available

From PTE

L en K - Zitah

Xenofex 2 - Constellation

Font of Choice

Ready?

Let's Begin!!

New Image - 600x600

Fill with black or a very dark color from your Tube

(The effect doesn't work so well with lighter colors)

L en K - Zitah

Image - Resize to 600x250

Lock unchecked - All Layers checked

Edge Effects - Enhance More

Zoom in to 200%

Magic Wand tool

Mode - RGB, Tolerance and Feather both 0

Click inside one of the white spots

Selections - Modify - Select Color Range

Tolerance and Softness both 20

Click in the reference color box

Then click inside your selection

Zoom out to 100%

Now lots of your little white spots should be selected

Duplicate this Layer twice for a total of three Layers

On each of these Layers

Xenofex 2 - Constellation

Hit the Random Seed Button once for each Layer

Deselect

Paste your Tube as a New Layer

Position as desired

Crop your Tag

New Layer - Send to top

Fill with your dark color

Select All - Modify - Contract 1 - Delete - Deselect

Time to add your Name, CR Info and License#

ANIMATION

Hide your top two BG layers - Edit - Copy Merged

In Animation shop - Edit- Paste as new animation

Back in PSP

Hide the bottom BG layer and unhide the middle one

Edit - Copy merged

In Animation shop - Edit - Paste after current frame

Back in PSP

Hide the middle BG layer and unhide the top one

Edit-copy merged

In Animation shop - Edit- Paste after current frame

View animation- If you like it, save as a gif and you're done!

Shift+D to copy your Tag

Delete all but the Three BG Layers

Use your Crop Tool to

Crop to 150x150

Add a 1px Border like you did for the Tag

Add your Name and Animate
