Noisy Diamonds - A Forum Set Tutorial

To create this Set you will need:

A Tube

I used art by Steve Baier

Tubes and License available at UYA

Penta - Dot and Cross

MuRa's meister - Copies

Eye Candy 4000 - HSB Noise

Ready?

Let's begin!

First, open a Notepad and your PSP

Open your Tube

Using your Eyedropper Tool

Choose a Dark color from your Tube

Open your Materials palette

Copy the HTML code

Paste it into your Notepad

Continue by choosing a Medium color, then a Light one

Paste both of these HTML codes into your Notepad

My Three colors are these:

Dark:#833362
Medium:#b35191
Light:#e2bed3

Change your FG and BG colors to your Light and Dark Colors

Minimize your Notepad for now

In PSP

New Image - 600x250

Fill with your Light Color

Penta - Dot and Cross

Amount 72 - Cross Distance 10 - Cross Width 2

New Layer

Custom Selection

Fill with your Dark Color - Deselect

Image - Free Rotate - 45 Degrees Left

MuRa's Meister Copies - Tiling(Feedback)

Get your Medium HTML code from your Notepad and Make it your FG Color

New Layer - Drag Between BG and Top Layer

Make the same Custom selection as before

Fill with your Medium Color

Deselect - Image - Mirror

Image - Free Rotate - 45 Degrees Left

MuRas Meister - Copies

Change the Number to 2 - All the rest same as before

Adjust - Add Noise - Gaussian - 100% - Mono Checked

Drop Shadow - 3, 3, 50 and 5

Highlight the Top Layer

Duplicate this Layer Twice times for a total of Three

On Each of these Layers

Eye Candy 4000 - HSB Noise

Hit the Random Seed Button once for each Layer

On each of these Layers - Drop Shadow 3, 3, 50 and 5

Hide the Top two Layers for now

Copy your Tube and Paste as a New Layer

Arrange - Bring to Top

Plase as Desired - Drop Shadow of Choice

New Layer

Fill with dark color

Select All - Contract 1 - Delete - Deselect

Drop Shadow - 0, 0, 50 and 5

Add your Name, CR info and License#

ANIMATION

In PSP - Edit - Copy Merged

In Animation shop - Edit- Paste as new animation

Back in PSP

Hide the bottom HSB Noise and unhide the middle one

Edit - Copy merged

In Animation shop - Edit - Paste after current frame

Back in PSP

Hide the middle HSB Noise layer and unhide the top one

Edit -copy merged

In Animation shop - Edit - Paste after current frame

Edit - Select All

Animation - Frame Properties - Change the Number to 25

View animation- If you like it, save as a gif and you're done!
