New Moon - A Three Piece Set Tutorial

To create this Set you will need:

A Tube and a Close-up

Tubes and License available from CDO

Eye Candy 5 Textures - Texture Noise

My Selection Here

Unzip into your My Documents/My PSP Files/Selections Folder

Ready?

Let's Begin!

We are going to start with the Regular Tag

Choose a dark color and a light shade of the same color

Or you can use two contrasting colors

New Image - 600x400

Fill with your light color

New Layer

Fill with your other color

L en K - Zitah

Selections - Load My Selection

Delete - Deselect

Effects - Edge Effects - Enhance

Drop Shadow - 0, 0, 80 and 10

Copy your Close-up and Paste as a New layer

Move this Layer to just above your BG

Blend Mode - Soft Light

Copy your Tube and Paste as a New layer

Arrange - Bring to Top - Drop Shadow of Choice

Crop your Tag

New Layer

Fill with dark color

Select All - Contract 1 - Delete - Deselect

Effects - Edge Effects - Enhance

Add your Name, CR info and License #

Highlight your BG

Hide your Art Layers so you can see what you're doing

Rectangular Selection Tool

Starting from the Top Left

Hold down the Left Mouse Button and

Drag a Selection to the Bottom Right like shown

Make sure you're on the BG Layer

Invert Selection - Delete - Deselect

The reason for doing this is to reduce the final file-size

Duplicate your BG Layer Twice for a total of Three Layers

On each of These

Eye Candy 5 Textures - Texture Noise

Hit the Random Seed Button once for each Layer

Shift+D to copy your Tag Twice

On the First Copy

Delete your Border Layer

Selection Tool - Custom Selection

Move your Tubes, Name and CR Info

if you need to - Crop to Selection

Add the Border

This is your Forum Style Tag

Animate Like we will for the Regular Tag

On the Second Copy

Delete your Border, Name, CR Info and Art Layers

Add the Border

Add your Initial

This is your Avatar

Animate Like we will for the Regular Tag

ANIMATION

Starting with the Regular Tag

Fire up Animation Shop(AS)

In PSP - Edit - Copy Merged

In AS - Paste as a New Animation

In PSP - Hide the Top BG Layer

Edit - Copy Merged

In AS - Paste After Current Frame

In PSP - Hide the Middle BG Layer

Edit - Copy Merged

In AS - Paste After Current Frame

Animation - Frame Properties

Change the Number to 20

Repeat this process for the Forum Tag and Avatar
