Memory - A Forum Set Tutorial

To create this Forum Set you will need

A Tube of Choice

I used Art by Keith Garvey

Tubes and License available from PTE

Font of Choice - I used The NautiGal Rob

MuRa's Meister - Copies

DSB Flux - Bright Noise

Ready?

Let's Begin!

Copy your Tube and Paste as New Image

Resize 600x250 - Lock Unchecked - All Layers Checked

New Layer

Choose a Light Color for your FG

Choose a Dark Color for your BG

Make a Gradient on the FG

Sunburst - Repeats 0 - Link Checked

Make sure the light color is in the middle of the Gradient

Fill your New Layer with the Gradient

Send to Bottom

On your Tube Layer

MuRa's Meister - Copies - Wallpaper Rotate - Default

If this doesn't completely cover the BG, Repeat Copies

Crop your Tag

Effects - Distortion Effects - Pixelate

Size 10 - Symmetric Checked

Effects - Edge Effects - Enhance More

Change the Blend Mode to Overlay (or whatever you want)

Merge Visible

Adjust - Blur - Radial Blur

Effects - Edge Effects - Enhance

Duplicate Layer

On the Duplicate - Image - Flip

Change the Blend Mode to Screen and Merge Visible

Pen Tool - Set up like this:

My Line Style is set to the Diamonds Style

You may use whichever one you want

Change your FG to your Light Color - BG Null

Hold down your Shift Key and Draw a line across your Tag

Use the Move Tool to move it towards the Top

(See Example at the Top)

Crop your Tag

Duplicate - Image - Flip

Merge these Lines Layers together

Drop Shadow - 2, 2, 48, 5

Duplicate this Layer Twice for a total of Three Layers

On each of these three Layers

DSB Flux - Bright Noise

48 - Mix - Hit the Mix Button once for each Layer

Add your Tube - Blurry Drop Shadow

Crop your Tag

New Layer - Fill with Dark color

Select All - Contract 1 - Delete - Deselect

Add your Name, CR Info and License # if necessary

Hide your BG and Lines Layers - Merge Visible

ANIMATION

Hide your top two Lines Layers - Edit - Copy Merged

In Animation shop - Edit- Paste as new animation

Back in PSP

Hide the bottom Lines Layer and unhide the middle one

Edit - Copy merged

In Animation shop - Edit - Paste after current frame

Back in PSP

Hide the middle Lines Layer and unhide the top one

Edit-copy merged

In Animation shop - Edit- Paste after current frame

View animation- If you like it, save as a gif and you're done!
