To create this Tag you will need:

A Tube

I used Art by Barbara Jensen

Tubes and License Available HERE

 

My Pattern

Right-Click and Save to your own Computer

 

Ready?

Let's Begin!

 

New Image - 800X650

Select All

Copy my Pattern

Paste into Selection

Deselect

Duplicate Layer

 

On the Duplicate

Freehand Selection

Mode Add(Shift) - Feather 2 - Anti-alias checked

Make a selection like so:

Mine is kind of rough looking, but you get the idea

Save this selection to the Alpha Channel

Invert Selection

Adjust Brightness/Contrast to your liking

I used Brightness -76 - Contrast 5

Deselect - Drop Shadow - 0, 0, 100 and 100 - Twice

 

New Layer

Fill with a Color from your Tube

Change the Blend Mode to Color

Load your Alpha Channel Selection

Delete - Deselect

 

Resize Image - 650X528

 

Select the Top Layer

New Layer - Fill with Black

Select All - Contract 10 - Delete - Deselect

 

Add your Tube

Drop Shadow - 20, 20, 100 and 100

Add your Name, CR Info and License#

 

Let's get ready to Animate!

Select your BG Layer

Duplicate

Free Rotate - Right 90°

All Layers and Rotate Unchecked

Duplicate

Free Rotate - Right 90°

All Layers and Rotate Unchecked

Duplicate

Free Rotate - Right 90°

All Layers and Rotate Unchecked

Make sure All Layers are Visible

Your Layers Palette should look like this now

 

Animation

Fire up Animation Shop(AS)

In PSP

Edit - Copy Merged

In AS - Paste as a New Animation

In PSP

Hide the Top BG Layer

Edit - Copy Merged

In AS - Paste as After Current Frame

In PSP

Hide the Next one Down

Edit - Copy Merged

In AS - Paste as After Current Frame

In PSP

Hide the Next one Down

Edit - Copy Merged

In AS - Paste as After Current Frame

View Animation to make sure it's like you want it

Save as a Gif

And you're Done!
