Freya's Elf - A Forum Set Tutorial

To create this Set you will need

A Tube and a Close-up

I used art by Freya Langford-Sidebottom

Tubes and License available from PSP Asylum

Animation by Missy from Divine Intentionz

I used the one called lightray

Font of Choice - I used FleurDeLeah ROB

MuRa's Meister - Copies

My Selection - Here

Unzip into your Selections Folder

Ready?

Let's Begin!

Copy your Tube and Paste as a New Image

MuRa's Meister - Copies

Wallpaper(Rotate) - Default Settings

Resize - 600x250

Lock unchecked - All Layers checked

Duplicate

On the Original

Adjust - Blur - Gaussian Blur - Radius 10

On the Duplicate

Adjust - Blur - Radial Blur

Zoom - Strength 52% - Elliptical checked - All else 0

Effects - Edge Effects - Enhance

Change the Blend Mode to Soft Light or one you like better

Merge visible

If it's too dark, duplicate again and change the Blend Mode to Screen

Merge visible

New Layer

Load my Selection

Fill this Selection with White or a Light color of choice

Deselect

Adjust - Blur - Gaussian Blur - Radius 30

Pull down the opacity a little

Copy your Close-up and Paste as a New Layer

Place as desired

Change the Blend Mode to Luminance

Pull down the opacity a little

Merge Visible

Copy your Tube and Paste as a New Layer

Place as desired

Drop shadow of choice

Crop your Tag

New Layer - Send to top

Fill with dark color

Select All - Contract 2 - Delete - Deselect

Drop Shadow - 1, 1, 100 and 3 - Drop Shadow again - change the V & H to -1

Add your Name, CR info and License# if necessary

To make the Avatar

Shift+D to copy your Tag

Crop to 150x150

Add the same 2px border that you did for the Tag

Same Drop Shadows

Add CR info, License# and Initial

Merge and save as a jpg

ANIMATION

Fire up Animation Shop

Open your Missy Animation

If it is Taller than 250px

You will have to resize it to 250px height

Make note of how many frames your animation has

The one I used has 12

Minimize this for now

In PSP

Highlight your Bottom Layer

Edit - Copy

In Ani Shop

Edit - Paste as New Animation

Hold down your ctrl key and hit the L key repeatedly until you have 12 frames

This is your Tag

Edit - Select All

Open your Animation back up

Edit - Select All

Edit - Copy

Go back to your Tag

Edit - Paste Into Selected Frame

Move to where you want it and click to place

In PSP

Hide your Bottom Layer

Edit - Copy Merged

In Ani Shop

Edit - Paste as New Animation

Hold down your ctrl key and hit the L key repeatedly until you have 12 frames

This is your Top

Edit - Select All

Edit - Copy

Go back to your Tag

Edit - Select All

Edit - Paste Into Selected Frame

Move to where you want it and click to place

View - Animation

If you like it, save as a gif and you're done!
