To create this set you will need

A Tube and a Close-up

I used art by Tim Lowery

Tubes and License available at PTE

This will work best with a Tube that has 3 different sizes

Ready?

Let's Begin!

 

Choose a Dark color for the BG

Choose a Light color for the FG

On the FG make a Radial Gradient

Angle 0 - Repeats 9

Horizontal and Vertical - 50

 

We're going to begin with the Larger Tag

New Image - 800x800

Fill with the Gradient

New Layer

Swap your FG/BG colors

Fill with the Gradient

Hide this Layer for now

 

On the BG Layer

Adjust - Add Noise

Gaussian - 71% - Mono checked

Adjust - Blur - Radial Blur

Effects - Edge Effects - Enhance

L en K - Elvida

Move the slider to 255

 

Highlight the top Layer

Repeat the steps in purple

Unhide the Top Layer and Highlight it

Crop Tool - 600x400

Move your Crop Box here:

Hit the green check mark to apply

New Layer

Custom Selection

Fill with your Light Color

Photo Effex - Scanlines

 

Copy your Tubes and Paste as New Layers

Position them as desired

On the Close-up change the Blend Mode to Luminance

Pull the opacity down a little

On the Medium sized Tube

Change the Blend Mode to Hard Light

Pull the opacity down a little

On the Main Tube

Drop Shadow - 10, 20, 100 and 100

Highlight the Scanlines Layer

Select All - Float - Defloat

Selections - Invert

On each of the Tubes Layers Hit your Delete Key

Deselect

Highlight the Scanlines Layer

Drop Shadow - 20, 20, 100 and 100

Highlight the Top Layer

New Layer

Custom Selection

Selections - Invert

Fill with your Dark Color

Deselect

Add your Word Art, Name, CR Info and License#

 

Shift+D to copy your Tag - TWICE

 

For the First Copy

Set your Crop Tool to 150x150

Move the Crop Box to where you want it

Hit the green check mark to apply

Remove any layers you don't want showing

New Layer - Bring to Top

Custom Selection

Selections - Invert

Fill with the Dark Color - Deselect

Add your Initial, CR Info and Licence#

Animate like we will for the Tag

This is your Avatar

 

On the Second Copy

Custom Selection

Move the Elements of your Tag around

Where you want them INSIDE the Selection

Image - Crop to Selection

Animate like we will for the Tag

This is your Forum Tag

 

Animation

Fire up Animation Shop(AS)

In PSP - Edit - Copy Merged

In AS - Paste as a New Animation

In PSP - Hide the Top BG Layer

Edit - Copy Merged

In AS - Paste after Current Frame

Edit - Select All

Animation - Frame Properties

Change the number to 50

Save as a Gif and you're done!

Use the same method to animate the Forum Tag and Avi
