Ready? Let's Begin! Choose a Light Color for your FG Choose a Dark or Contrasting Color for your BG Make this Gradient on the FG
New Image - 800x600 Fill with your Gradient Effects - Edge Effects - Enhance More Effects - Distortion Effects - Pixelate Width and Height 10 - Symmetric Checked
Magic Wand Tool Mode Add(Shift) - Match Mode RGB Value Tolerance and Feather 0 Click inside one of the Darkest Areas Selections - Modify - Select Color Range Tolerance 10 - Softness 0 Add color range Checked Click inside the area you have selected Click OK Promote Selection to Layer - Deselect Highlight your BG Layer Click inside one of the Lightest Areas Selections - Modify - Select Color Range Tolerance 10 - Softness 0 Add color range Checked Click inside the area you have selected Click OK Promote Selection to Layer - Deselect Merge the Promoted Selection Layers together
Effects - Distortion Effects - Curlicues Image - Free Rotate Left - 45 degrees
Crop Tool - 600x400 Move your Crop Box to the Upper Left Corner Click the Green Arrow to Apply
Freehand Selection Tool Type Point-to-point - Mode add(shift) Feather and Smoothing 0 Make this Selection Delete - Deselect Drop Shadow - 0, 0, 50 and 20
If you're using my Shamrock Resize and Paste in the center of one of your curlicues Add Noise - Gaussian - 65 - Mono Checked Duplicate this Layer and Move to the center of another curlicue Repeat this until you have shamrocks in the center of all your curlicues Merge your shamrock Layers together
Now we're going to work on the Background Effects - Illumination Effects - Lights Tick the little #1 Box and make the Settings like mine Change color to match your Tag Preview Button should be checked so you can see what you're doing Tick the little #2 Box Change the color to a lighter shade of the color in the #1 Box Tick the little #3 Box Change the color to a Contrasting one Tick the little #4 Box Change the color to another color Tick the little #5 Box Change the color to a light shade of the #3 Color Play with the Colors to get the Effect you want
Copy your Close-up and Paste as a New Layer Move it to just above the BG Change the Blend Mode to Soft Light or a different one you like better
Highlight the Curlicues Layer Use your Magic Wand Tool to Select the Light Colored Bars Duplicate this Layer twice for a total of Three Layers On the Bottom one Adjust - Add Noise - Gaussian - 20 - Mono Checked On the Middle one Add Noise - Change the Number to 24 On the Top one Add Noise - Change the Number to 28 Hide the Top two of these Layers for now Deselect
Copy your Tube and Paste as a New Layer Arrange - Bring to Top - Position as Desired Give it a Blurry Drop Shadow New Layer - Fill with Dark Color - Select All Contract 2 - Delete - Deselect
Now let's get what we need for our Forum Tag and Avi Shift+D to copy your Tag - TWICE
On the First Copy Delete the Art and Border layers Crop Tool set to 150x150 Move it to where you want it Hit the green check mark to apply Add the Border Add your Initial Animate like we will for the Tag This is your Avi
On the Second Copy Delete the Border Layer Custom Selection
Move your Tubes around to get them where you want them Inside the Selection Crop to Selection Add the Border Add your name, CR Info and License# Animate like we will for the tag This is your Forum Tag
Back to our Tag Add your name, CR Info and License#
ANIMATION In PSP - Edit - Copy Merged In Animation shop - Edit- Paste as new animation Back in PSP Hide the bottom Curlicues layer and unhide the middle one Edit - Copy merged In Animation shop - Edit - Paste after current frame Back in PSP Hide the middle Curlicues layer and unhide the top one Edit-copy merged In Animation shop - Edit- Paste after current frame View animation - If you like it, save as a gif and you're done!
