To create this Set, you will need A Tube and a Close-up I used art by Barbara Jensen Tubes and License are available Here My Mask and Pattern Here Open both in your Workspace No Outside Filters Necessary
Ready? Let's Begin! Choose Light and Dark colors for your FG/BG Set the BG to SWWTransChek Pattern Angle 0 - Scale 100
We are going to begin with the animation New Image - 200x400 Fill with the Check pattern Change the BG back to Color
Magic Wand Tool Add(shift) - Match Mode Color - Tolerance and Feather 0 Click inside one of the gray areas Selections - Modify - Select Color Range Tolerance 10 - Softness 0 Click in the Reference Color Box, then Click inside the Selection you made Check Add Color Range and click OK All the gray areas should be selected now
New Layer Flood Fill Tool Match Mode - None Fill your Selection with your Dark Color Invert Selection Fill your Selection with your Light Color Keep Selected New Layer Fill your Selection with your Dark Color Invert Selection Fill your Selection with your Light Color Delete the Bottom Layer Highlight each of these Layers and click in the Link Box To Link these Two Layers Together

Highlight each of these Layers and click in the Link Box To UN-Link the Two Layers
New Layer - Arrange - Send to Bottom Fill with your Light Color
New Layer - Arrange - Bring to Top Fill with your Dark Color Layers - New Mask Layer - From Image
Layers - Merge Group Duplicate Layer - merge Down
Highlight your BG Layer Copy your Close-up and Paste as a New Layer Move to where it's visible on the Left side Change the Blend Mode to one you like I used Luminance for the sample on top Lower the Opacity a little Play with the Blend Modes and Opacity til you get something you like
New Layer - Bring to Top Fill with your Dark Color Select All - Contract 2 - Delete - Deselect Drop Shadow - 2, 2, 100 and 2 then -2, -2, 100 and 2 Add your Name, CR Info and License # Crop your Tag
Shift+D to copy your Tag Twice On the first Copy: Delete the Border Layer Custom Selection Top - 0 Right - 600 Bottom - 250 Left - 0 Move your Tubes, CR Info and Name Layers around Until you're happy - Crop to Selection Add the Border with the same Drop Shadow Animate like we will for the Tag This is your Forum Sized tag
On the Second Copy Remove Art Layers Remove Border, CR and Name Layers Set your Crop Tool to 150x150 Move where you want it Click the green check mark to apply Add the Border with the same Drop Shadow Add your Initial Animate like we will for the Tag This is your Avatar
Animation Fire up Animation Shop(AS) In PSP Edit - Copy Merged In AS - Paste as New Animation Back In PSP Hide the Top Checkers Layer Edit - Copy Merged In AS - Paste After Current Frame Animation - Frame Properties Change the Number to 30 Save as a gif and you're done!
