To create this Set you will need

A Tube

DSB Flux - Bright Noise

Greg's Factory Output 2 - Pool Shadow



Let's Begin!

Choose two Colors from your Tube as FG/BG

New Image - 600x400

Fill with one of your Colors

Greg's Pool Shadow

All Sliders at 50

If it's too Dark, you can raise the Lightness a little


Duplicate this Layer Three times for a Total of Three Layers

On each of these Layers

DSB Flux - Bright Noise

18 - Mix checked

Hit the Mix button once for each Layer


Select the Top Layer

Make your Background Black or some other Dark Color

Foreground Null

Pull your Image top and bottom so it looks like this

Rectangle Tool

Draw out a rectangle Taller than your Tag

Image - Free Rotate

25 Degrees right

All Layers and Rotate - Unchecked

It should look like this

You may have to use your Pick Tool to

Pull it out and Move it to where you want it

Convert to Raster and Crop to Merged Opaque


Select All - Float - Defloat

New Layer

Fill with another Color from your Tube


Image - Mirror

Now it should look like this

You should still have your Colored Angle Layer Selected

Effects - Texture Effects - Weave

Gap - 1

Width - 2

Opacity - 1

Both Colors your Dark Color

Fill Gaps Checked

Image - Mirror and Flip


Duplicate the First Angle Layer

Image - Mirror and Flip

Now it should look like this

Select the Layer with the Dark Angle on the right

Select All - Float - Defloat

Select the Layer with the Colored Angle on the Right

Use your Eraser Tool

Erase so the Dark Angle Shows Through

Add a Drop Shadow to each of the Angle Layers

0, 0, 100 and 10


Add your Tube - Give it the same Drop Shadow

Add your Name, CR Info and License#


New Layer

Fill with your Dark Color

Select All - Contract 2 - Delete - Deselect

Drop Shadow - 0, 0, 100 and 5


Now Let's get what we need for the Forum Tag and Avatar

Shift+D to Copy your Tag - Twice


Using the First Copy

We'll make the Avatar

Delete Art, Name, CR info and Border Layers

Set your Crop Tool to 150 x 150

Move to where you want it

Hit the green arrow to apply

Add the Border and your Initial

Set this aside for now


Using the Second Copy

Remove the Border Layer

Custom Selection

Top - 0

Left - 0

Bottom - 250

Right - 600

Move the elements of your Tag

Inside the Selection where you want them

Don't forget your CR Info

Crop to Selection

Add the Border

Set this aside for now



Starting with the Tag

Make sure all Layers are Visible

Edit - Copy Merged

Open Animation Shop (AS)

Paste as a New Animation

Back in PSP

Hide the Top BG Layer

Edit - Copy Merged

In AS - Paste After Current Frame

Back in PSP

Hide the Middle BG Layer

Edit - Copy Merged

In AS - Paste After Current Frame

Edit - Select All

Save as a gif

Animate the Forum Tag and Avatar the same way
