To create this set you will need

A Tube and a Close-up

I used art by Robert Alvarado

I purchased this Tube while he was with MPT

Tubes and License now available from PTE

Mehdi - Kaleidoscope 2

My Selection - HERE

Unzip into your Selections Folder

 

Ready?

Let's Begin!

 

The first thing we are going to do is to make a mask

FG Black - BG White

On the FG make a FG/BG Gradient

Linear - Angle and Repeats 0

New Image - 600x250

Fill with your Gradient

 

Save this as a jpg because you might want

to use it again, but don't close it

Minimize this for now

 

New Image - 600x250

Fill with a medium color from your Tube

Adjust - Add Noise

90% - Uniform - Mono Checked

 

Effects - Distortion Effects - Pixelate

20 - Symmetric checked

Edge Effects - Enhance - two or three times

Adjust - Blur - Motion Blur

90 degrees - 100%

 

New Layer

Load SWW3Strip Selection

Fill the Selection with a dark shade of your BG color

Deselect

Drop Shadow - 0, 0, 35 and 5

 

Remember the Mask we made?

We're going to use that now

Layers - New Mask Layer - From Image

Find your Mask in the drop down menu

Source Luminance checked

Click OK

Merge Group

 

This next part depends on you

If you think this is too light, go ahead and duplicate it

Then Merge Down

 

Drop Shadow - 0, 0,70 and 5

Duplicate - Mirror and Flip - Merge Down

 

Mehdi - Kaleidoscope 2

Duplicate - Flip - Merge Down

 

Duplicate this Layer twice for a total of three Layers

On each of these - DSB Flux - Bright Noise

45 - Mix checked - Hide the top two Layers for now

 

Get out your Lasso Tool

Point to point - Feather 0

Select around an area in the Center

 

Highlight your BG Layer

Copy your Close-Up and Paste as a New Layer

Invert Selection - Delete - Deselect

Change the Blend Mode to Luminance

 

Copy your Tube and Paste as a New Layer

Bring to Top

Position as desired - Drop Shadow of choice

Crop your Tag to 600x250

 

New Layer

Fill with dark color

Select All - Contract 1 - Delete - Deselect

 

Add your Name, CR info and License # if necessary

 

ANIMATION

In PSP - Edit - Copy Merged

In Animation shop - Edit- Paste as new animation

Back in PSP

Hide the bottom DSB Flux layer and unhide the middle one

Edit - Copy merged

In Animation shop - Edit - Paste after current frame

Back in PSP

Hide the middle DSB Flux layer and unhide the top one

Edit-copy merged

In Animation shop - Edit- Paste after current frame

View animation- If you like it, save as a gif and you're done!
